FAQ

How to identify packaging made of plastic, paper and steel?

A package made up in this way is a compound package. To identify the material, the C / prevailing material + number associated with the plastic, paper and steel coupling must be provided. Since Decision 129/97 / EC does not provide for any numbering associated with this coupling, it is suggested to adopt the numbering “86”, that is the first numbering available which does not identify any specific coupling and which can therefore be adopted in these cases.
