Gas cylinders should definitely provide alphanumeric coding as per Decision 129/97/EC according to their composition material (e.g. FE 40, ALU 41, etc.).
If the cylinder is destined for the final consumer, it must also include indications for proper end-of-life management: in this case, due to a potential explosive risk of the residual product, it is necessary to indicate to check with the municipality of reference how to deliver the packaging to ecological islands or to authorized firms.
